MEET OUR TRIBE!
MASSILLON
JOHN
John is the wizard of our mechanics' pit. When he's not wrenching, he shreds the trails at Ray's and leads our coffee-shop rides in the summer. Bring him a nice black coffee, and he'll be your friend for life.
FOSTER
When he's not fixing bikes or taking rides on the Kokosing Gap Trail with his wife Steph, Foster supports area trails as president of Massillon Area Greenways. If Johnny Cash is on the radio, Foster is here!
TYLER
Got an ebike question? Tyler has the answer! He brings an artist's eye to everything he does, from pottery to detailing cars. On a nice spring day, you might find him hunting morels at Atwood Lake.
JOSHUA
One of our most dedicated commuters, you'll see Joshua riding to work year-round. Outside of the mechanics' pit and sales floor, he's also an amateur gemologist and a fan of really good sci-fi.
VINNY
Bio forthcoming
WAYNE
Our self-described inveterate hardware geek and music nerd, Wayne also commutes to work (and anywhere else he can!) on his bike. He especially enjoys cheering on his beloved Columbus Crew.
DEBBIE
When she's not busy as our bookkeeping brains, Debbie's favorite rides are those with her husband, Ern Sr. — especially if she can take her ebike, She's also got some otherworldly pie-baking skills.
ERNIE JR.
Ern Jr., our Massillon manager, is a simple guy: All he needs are a few tracks of Bob Dylan, a road ride through Black Moshannon State Park, homemade maple syrup, and a happy pup.
ERNIE SR.
The guy on our sign! Ern Sr. opened our doors in 1978. His favorite moment on a bike is riding down the lane to home. He's also an expert in cutting firewood — both in AND out of the Tuscarawas River.
MOLLY
Molly splits her time between the sales floor and handling our shop communications. She recommends the Blackhand Gorge trail and can probably beat you at the New York Times crossword.
NEW PHILADELPHIA
ADAM
Our New Philadelphia manager loves to hit the Towpath and the trails at Tuscazoar, then cuddle up with a dog and a good movie. (Alien might be Adam's all-time favorite, but it's a tough call.)
CALAN
All Calan needs to be happy are his dogs, his fishing pole, and his bike. You might spot him riding the Zoar Valley Trail (when he's not competing in a fishing tournament).
GEDDY
Bio forthcoming.
BRANDON
Come see Brandon for all your e-bike questions: he's the expert at the New Philadelphia shop. On his days off, he hits the Tuscazoar trails!
GAGE
Gage's nickname is River, which is fitting since he loves to go fishing. In between catches, he rides at Tuscazoar and perfects his Call of Duty skills.
NORTH CANTON
CHRIS
When he's not at the shop, you might catch our North Canton manager Chris practicing his recurve bow. For a great ride, he recommends the roads by Walborn Reservoir.
LIZ
Our sales manager Liz loves hiking, biking, exploring new places with the family, and many types of art: film, photography, and painting, just to name a few.
ERIN
Service manager Erin splits his time riding his many bikes and attempting to keep up with his three boys. Erin appreciates a good cup (or four) of coffee, his music and doing anything creative.
BILL
Want to know more about bike travel, backpacking, training, or bike fits? Bill, who's ridden the 2,500 Great Divide Mountain Route from Canada to Mexico, can tell you everything you need to know!
NICK
Long-distance gravel riding, tearing it up at Ray's and Hampton Hills, BMX in the streets: NIck does it all, plus a little photography and painting on the side.
BOB
An avid road cyclist for years, Bob recently picked up mountain biking and bikepacking, too! He loves the local country roads and events with the Stark County Bike Club, but more travel in the saddle is in the works.
DANI
You'll see Dani on the sales floor or managing our inventory. She relocated back to Ohio after a few years in Washington state, where she enjoyed hiking and kayaking.
LOGAN
The youngest member of our North Canton crew, Logan likes to spend his free time riding BMX bikes at local skate parks.
LARRY
A Renaissance man, Larry is a talented woodworker, an experienced teacher, and an expert on bike training. He loves riding the Cumberland Pass in between his many activities.
RICKY
Meet Ricky: biking enthusiast, hiking aficionado, diving fan, fishing storyteller. When he’s not being an awesome dad, he’s enjoying the great outdoors and spinning yarns about his latest catch.
